Go on, guess! That’s right, you got it. While I’m pushing through this next editing pass, don’t fear. You can always get one of my books, Her Cousin Much Removed, The Great Paradox and the Innies and Outies of Time Management, Better Living Through GRAVY and Other Oddities, and Aunty Ida’s Full-Service Mental Institution (by Invitation Only)
to pass the time. You can even borrow them with Amazon Prime or read them for free with Kindle Unlimited. And Better Living Through GRAVY and Other Oddities is just plain free. Enjoy, and see you back here soon.
Yeah, go and get those books! I’ve read them all and they are VERY GOOD.

I enjoyed the first chapters of “Her cousin much removed’ on Amazon (and clever old me with my classical education, I even got the allusion in the name Delenda) and I’d like to read more, but I have a Kobo and can only read Kindle format on my computer screen unless I go through a great rigmarole to convert to epub format. Have you thought of putting your books on Smashwords where they are available in all the formats?

I’m so glad you’ve enjoyed it so far! Yes, I have to admit, the name Delenda made me giggle all the way through writing that book 🙂
I’ve used Smashwords before, but the books haven’t done well enough on those outlets to outweigh the perks of having them exclusively on Amazon.
My short story collection, Better Living Through GRAVY and Other Oddities is available on Smashwords, though that’s a lot weirder, as opposed to the cozy mystery.
If you happen to have a smartphone or tablet, you can get the Kindle app, which is more convenient than the computer. Otherwise, if I decide to use Smashwords again, I’d be happy to let you know 🙂
I think they should have one format that works everywhere, but I suspect that’s not Amazon’s idea of a good time.
