A is for…AGAIN?!

Standard

Well, I’m doing it again this year, the A-to-Z Blogging Challenge. It’s a crazy whirlwind of blogging and blog visits, and was so much fun last year, A, this time, is for “again.” And if you’re interested in joining the madness, there’s still time.

Last year, though, I participated in the challenge — which requires you to blog the alphabet six days a week throughout the month of April and visit your fellow bloggers — and did Camp NaNoWriMo. That was a little on the much side. And now I’m tempted again, but with my writing class still steaming ahead, I just think it could lead to disaster, like attempting to rip my laptop in half while muttering the alphabet backward and declaring myself emperor of all that is written.

We probably don’t want that.

Though Emperor of All that is Written has a nice ring to it, when you think about it. But I think, as usual, I’ve gotten a little off track.

So yes, once again I have signed myself up for the pressure of thinking of blog posts tethered to a letter, and added Saturday to my blogging rotation. It may have been challenging (although that’s no secret, it’s right in the name), but it’s such a good time.

A big hearty welcome to all of my fellow A-to-Z-ers! And just as big a hearty welcome to non-A-to-Zers alike! Happy April, it’s going to be a fun month.

Check out  my full-length novels,  Her Cousin Much Removed,  The Great Paradox and the Innies and Outies of Time Management and Aunty Ida’s Full-Service Mental Institution (by Invitation Only), and the sequel, Aunty Ida’s Holey Amazing Sleeping Preparation (Not Doctor Recommended) which is now available!

    • It’s really fun, I promise, though a bit crazy. Blogging every day is the challenging bit, but then you get to find all these blogs you’d never have seen otherwise. It’s definitely worth doing again 🙂

  1. “Emperor of all that is Written.” That does have a nice ring to it. Is there an Emperor-in-Chief position I could apply for? Also, found you through the A to Z challenge. Nice to meet you! 🙂

  2. YAY! Thanks for checking out my B post 🙂 I always like meeting new people via the A to Z Challenge! I’ve participated the past two years, so you’d think I’d learn my lesson and have posts ready in advance, but nope nope nope! Ain’t no one got time for that!

At least this is the first year I will be sticking to a theme (I think).

Good luck to you and I hope to see you around!

    • I think meeting other bloggers is the best part! I definitely don’t have any posts planned, I’m winging it. I think my only theme is chaos 😉

Good luck to you, and yes, hopefully I’ll be seeing you!

  3. I was looking for somewhere to leave a note and thank you for following. I didn’t do the challenge. My challenge was reading all those that had done it. Most of the blogs I follow don’t write every day which gives me time to get them all read. A-Z almost finished me off. I’ll keep reading here.
