Not the Best Way to Type

Standard

I think I’ve admitted I’m a bit of a sucker for gadgets. Which is why I am currently trying to type with moisturizing gloves on. At a rate of about 3 words per minute. Not my best speed. That’s it. The gloves are coming off.

No, I swear that I didn’t just type all that in thick fuzzy gloves just for that last line. No, really. My hands do feel softer, though, so it was totally worth the extra ten minutes. Or twelve minutes. Or whatever, I’m not a clock.

Truth be told, I don’t need fuzzy gloves to slow me down with the writing these days. I like to think that I am prepping, getting myself ready for NaNoWriMo, which is, terrifyingly, right around the corner. And usually I give myself a little bit of leeway in deciding whether I’m going to do it, as in on November 1, I decide yay or nay.

Well, I’ve already said it this year. I’m in. Oh boy.

I’ve got manuscripts stacking like nearly-finished airplanes, and here I am, about to embark on a whole new project. And how does that feel?

Hmm. I’d say awesome. November looks pretty good from October. Watch out, NaNo, here we come. I think I might ditch the moisturizing gloves, though. I need full aerodynamics for that word count.
