Me Inside Me Rises Again for M!

Standard

So for all my new A-to-Z Blogging Challenge friends, I did the writing program at the training center of Chicago’s famed Second City theater. At the end of the program, we put up a full sketch comedy revue which was called “Me Inside Me.” We sold out all four weeks, and it was a blast.

Well we decided to do it again! This time we have no nets, no instructor, and almost all new material. Starting May 7, every Saturday night at 10 pm for four weeks at Donny’s Skybox Theater, we’ll be showing “Me Inside Me Presents: Neurotrash.”

Here is the poster (and the link in case you want to get tickets. If you’re in Chicago you’ll totally want to get tickets).

So come check out the show! I think it’s going to be pretty fantastic. And even if it isn’t, they sell booze, so, you know, win/win!

In or near Chicago? Check out our sketch comedy revue, “Me Inside Me Presents: Neurotrash.” Saturdays at 10 pm, May 7, 14, 21 & 28. Click here for tickets.

Check out  my full-length novels,  Her Cousin Much Removed,  The Great Paradox and the Innies and Outies of Time Management and Aunty Ida’s Full-Service Mental Institution (by Invitation Only), and the sequel, Aunty Ida’s Holey Amazing Sleeping Preparation (Not Doctor Recommended) which is now available!

  1. I wrote a show once. At school. It was a Star Trek parody in the style of Monty Python. Went down like a bucket of cold sick … I could do it much better now. I think.

  2. I will not be in Chicago until a few days later, but may have to share this with my Chicago friends! Is there an age requirement? (alcohol served, so I ask) My niece is in college, but under 21.
