So I recently discovered the #1linwed game, where, following a theme, you tweet a line. It’s a lot of fun, not only as a prompt, but to see what others are writing. So I’m going to post some of my favorites so far today.
There is a theme (I didn’t realize it the first time), which, today, is “late.” Come play on twitter! I’ll post my own at the bottom.
I reserve the right to update this post as the day goes on, so feel free to check back, if you are not twitter inclined. If you want to find me on twitter, I’m right here: @IsaLeeWolf. Some of these might not fit the theme, but I still enjoyed them. I also discovered how easy it is to add tweets to a post.
And here we go!
And mine, in order (thus far):
Check out my full-length novels, Her Cousin Much Removed, The Great Paradox and the Innies and Outies of Time Management and Aunty Ida’s Full-Service Mental Institution (by Invitation Only), and the sequel, Aunty Ida’s Holey Amazing Sleeping Preparation (Not Doctor Recommended) which is now available!
And download Better Living Through GRAVY and Other Oddities, it’s free!
I thought the game was to tweet a line from your WIP? Searched through mine and didn’t find a single use of ‘late’ 😦

Probably. But I’m not terribly afraid of the hashtag police, and I’m having fun the way I’m doing it.
The ones I posted are all a single line, but you’ll notice browsing the tweets a lot of people post several, so I think it’s pretty flexible as a whole.
Besides, whose to say it’s not a microfiction WIP…literally IP right now?
Such a stickler! 🙂

I am now determined to use that verb. To stickle. So fun.

I’ve seen this going on but had no idea what it was about. I tend to ignore hashtags because they seem messy to me. I like my words uncluttered, I guess. But now that I see what it is, this looks like fun. I could do just one hashtag and not feel bad about myself.

Once you try one hashtag, you’ll want one more…and one more…and before you know it, you’ll be mixing your own hashtags…
Seriously, I’ve had a lot of fun with it, though apparently, according to Jon, I’ve been doing it wrong…come do it wrong with me! 🙂
Also, if you do TV shows, the hashtags are necessary.

So you’re telling me that this particular hashtag is merely a gateway hashtag intended to get me hooked on the stronger stuff? My mother warned me about you big city hashtag dealers. 😉

Oh, one little hashtag isn’t going to hurt you. It’s a victimless hashtag. It will help you to unwind after a long day of unfocused tweeting.
