Well my fog morphed into a bit of an end-of-summer cold, so I’m a little less creative than I’d like to be. So how about a few more pictures? These are from a sunset a few days ago. It was pretty spectacular.
There’s something about the sky in Chicago in late August. The clouds seem more solid, abundant even when it’s not considering rain, and they hold the sun in a way as though they’re trying to keep it here for as long as possible.
Their efforts are in vain, of course.
You can’t stop the
shift in seasons here, but you can admire them as they roll through.
And here’s this one on the cusp of change.
Check out my full-length novels, Her Cousin Much Removed, The Great Paradox and the Innies and Outies of Time Management and Aunty Ida’s Full-Service Mental Institution (by Invitation Only), and the sequel, Aunty Ida’s Holey Amazing Sleeping Preparation (Not Doctor Recommended) which is now available!
And download Better Living Through GRAVY and Other Oddities, it’s free!
Impressive photos! I love the changing of the seasons. Have a wonderfilled weekend.
