Well, I’m back! I’ve just had my incredible trip to Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands, and it was even better than I imagined. The food was fantastic, the people welcoming and happy to share the wonder of their country with us, and the wildlife utterly spectacular.

And yes, I have pictures.

Though I am running out of space here on WordPress, so I’m going to have to find another place to host them. Suggestions are welcome! I’ll be organizing the photos and my thoughts, but I can’t wait to share it all with you. In the sense that I am going to force you to relive my trip with me, one post at a time!

But maybe not all at once.

Regardless, it was a magical, transformative trip, and I’m one bracelet away from being one of those people who comes back draped in all the trappings of a new culture.

One bracelet away, folks.

Is it possible I might run away to the cacao plantation I’ll talk about later on? I wouldn’t rule it out. I bet I could learn to chicken, or whatever it is they do on plantations. Or I may continue to speak in my pretty awful Spanglish that the people we met were nice enough to pretend to understand.

Either way, I think we all win.
