Putting trust in the signs

So it’s one of those days when you finally think yes, spring, and even summer are possible. It’s sunny and blue and not that cold. I parked where there were no parking signs that don’t kick in until Monday, but prepared for possible injustice.

I took photos.

As we lurch into the weekend, after a very strange week, we can’t imagine what will come next, but like the weather, it feels like things have turned.

Or so we can hope.

We are living in interesting times, and can see now why that’s a pretty effective curse. I’d take our contented complacency back any day, but now we know what we have to lose and what some are itching to seize.

Big thoughts for such a bright day. Just for now, I’d rather soak in the sunshine.
