Howdy Monday

My body got me out of bed for the live Daily Burn workout even though I didn’t set an alarm. But I woke up at the exact odd time as though I had set an alarm.

My brain and body are at odds about this am workout thing. But the body wins. Can’t sleep if the body’s awake.

I’m feeling focused and alert today, and I don’t think it’s just the coffee. Change is in the air, and it’s not only the seasons. Something shifted.

Can you feel it?

Maybe someone pulled out that supporting Jenga block. It feels like the whole thing’s going to come crashing down and I’m looking forward to that tumbling noise.

I had a Sunday of doing nothing, the kind of Sunday I think we all need now and then. A bit of a mental break, though I’ll admit I was still thinking about the issues of the world. But maybe some of those issues will soon be resolved.

With all this energy to spend, I’m going to try to use it productively. Have great Monday and a great start to your week.

  1. I did have a great Monday! I discovered a few weeks ago that my Samsung phone’s Samsung Health app offers group challenges as well as individual workout programs. I joined the September 200,000 step challenge, and I’m having fun with the online chat.
Also, after two weeks of reschedules, I finally had another Mandarin class. We’ve been having a hard time getting together, but the class was great.

Hope the rest of your week goes well!

    • That’s AWESOME! The group challenges sound fun. 200,000 steps! Keep me posted, that’s a lot.

Also Mandarin! Do you guys think you’ll end up back in China? A new language is a serious challenge.
