So you know how yesterday I said with NaNoWriMo my posting times might be weird?
Definitely weird.
I finished my words for the day, and I wanted to wait until I had them done to post. I can’t say for sure if I’ll do the same every Friday, but since it’s only Day 2, I figured why not.
I’ve implemented my plan of finishing the manuscript I was working on first, and it’s been slow going. But I’m 4,431 words in, so progress is happening. Woo-hoo!
Also the site wasn’t working so I couldn’t buddy up, but I think it’s probably up and running properly, so I’m planning on that. So writing: check.
Another five days of live workouts, even though I found the theme this week very patronizing, it was about optimism, and under the current circumstances, that seemed ridiculous. But I got the exercise in, words in, not a terrible week.

You ARE doing it! Glad to hear it. And kudos on getting your words and workouts in. Seems like you were struggling for a while.
I just checked and didn’t see you in NaNo. Are you under a pseudonym? If you want to buddy up, I’m under Admiral Piet. Since I’m anonymous online, I can’t really look for anyone I know from the real world.
You know I’m a day ahead, and I just wrapped up about 8,000 total words. I was sick a week ago and lost three days of writing, so I want to get as far ahead as I can in case that happens again. But the first day I was writing scenes that I had written by hand in a notebook, so I started easy.
I don’t know what the correct saying is to encourage writers – “Break a leg” comes to mind.
