Standard

It’s the final AccountaClub for the year! Kicked off in June after #MAYkingItWork, AccountaClub has aided us, together, as we trudge through the year, week by week.

How about it.

Hard to believe this year is winding down, now in its final few days. Time flies and time stands still, often both at the same time.

I’ve had writing goals not yet met this year. Focus, given all that is happening in the world, has proven very, very challenging. Next year may have some of the same goals, and some new goals, and possibly new techniques.

We shall see.

This week I learned how to make gifs, and I have to tell you, it’s a favorite new skill. Which I should probably demonstrate.

Here’s Katherine Hepburn making coffee because of course.

Trust me, it was relevant at the time.

I’ve maintained my new organization systems, and I’ve got to tell you, I find it very gratifying. Getting there was extremely challenging, but it was worth it because maintenance is so much easier.

As for the exercise, five workouts this week, but not at the live time. They also didn’t have “live” workouts this week, with the holiday, and even had a couple of repeats that were new to me and so much fun I didn’t care. So I gave myself a break with the time.

The Daily Burn site has been a little glitchy when streaming the workout when they load it. Hopefully, they’ll get that worked out. If you’re looking for a new workout routine in the new year, I can’t recommend Daily Burn enough, there’s just no boredom possible, and it’s a fun, efficient 30 minutes of exercise.

And so that’s it for 2018! How was your week? How do you feel about your year?

  1. I have been completely lax in AccountaClub this month! When my sister visited, I just didn’t spend much time online at all, and my blogging habit – writing and reading – has suffered for it. Sounds like you successfully created and maintained a fitness habit, as well as your organization. No small potatoes!

After Nano, I spent December (when not entertaining) reviewing what I’d written, not to edit, but to make notes as to what my need work, what could be reorganized, and any research that needs to be looked into. I just finished the review on Friday, so yay! In January, I’ll tackle some of those pressing issues, then let it sit for a while to percolate a few months.

    Happy new year!

    • It must have been so great to have her there! Was it her first trip there?

You’ve done such a great job with the writing this year…there are always ups and downs and wow did you kill it!! It’s a great idea to let it sit, things look different after a break.

Thanks, yes, Daily Burn is so easy for me to stick with! And I’m still organizing…I’ve never had a good place to store the stuff you don’t refrigerate…potatoes, onions that kind of thing, and I got a stand and I’m thrilled! So more conveniences in 2019.

Thanks for hanging with me this year. I wish you the happiest of new years, with 2019 bringing you all you wish for and more!
