Standard

It’s Friday! And I seem to have picked up a cold. Nothing major, I’m just stuffy and draggy, which kind of matches the weather today.

But because I’m stuffy and draggy, it’s going to be a quick one.

So no writing this week, but that wasn’t the goal, I had other stuff with deadlines that had to get done. And I did it. I used the method of breaking the task up to make it less overwhelming, doing a bit per day as I had the time before I had to get it in.

I highly recommend it for a big task you don’t really want to do but have to. It helps to make it less daunting.

So that’s a check.

And even with the germs brewing, I did my five workouts, all live. So that’s also good.

Besides that, I’m sniffley and just kind of tired, so I’m going to indulge that a little and take it on the easier side today. How was your week?

  1. Good for you getting your workouts in! Hopefully that regular exercise will help your system recover faster.
Between construction noise and some rough nights destroying my energy, my editing slowed. And I only wrote in the new book once. I think I’m to the point where I at least need to make a few predictions on that book, or it will DRAAAAAAagggg. So I did some brainstorming on writing prompts of things that might happen. That helped, I think.

So, a less than usually productive week for me, but you gotta roll with the energy your body gives you! …Or maybe roll with the inspiration the universe gives you?

    • Maybe both???

I think that writing while dealing with that noise is miraculous. It’s very draining, physically and mentally. That you’ve made progress AT ALL is amazing and fantastic!

Thanks it really did! I was pretty much over it by yesterday, and though I have a little bit of tickle left in my throat, overall it was a short one! So that was awesome.

I wonder if now’s a good time to get in a little exploration, just to get away from the noise??
