#AtoZChallenge: Begin

Standard

On day 2 of the A to Z Blogging Challenge, I was overwhelmed by the sheer breadth of B words. So I used a random word generator.

And the very first word was “begin.” Which is cosmically perfect.

There’s so much promise in “begin.” So much new, so much that can come from it. The first step to everything that ever was.

Begin.

For those of us A to Zing, that could mean this challenge. We only have to start, and the letters will unfold, one day after the next, until we reach Z.

But that’s not all.

We can begin anything at any time: that novel; that fitness program; mending fences; meeting new people. It’s a word that is limited only on the one side.

The possibilities of the other are endless.

What would you like to begin?

  1. “Begin” … I love that. When my energy drags, if I will just begin–take action–the enthusiasm usually returns. Ideas and motivation also come after I begin. Thanks for that reminder!

Catching up late, but your post reminds me of one of my favourite sayings:

    Start where you are
    Use what you have
    Do what you can

Credited to Arthur Ashe if I recall. After a troublesome day yesterday, it’s a good reminder – as is your post. Thank you 🙂

    • Debs, I FORBID you from any more troublesome days.

      NO MORE.

You are way, way above your quota, and that’s just for this year.

That saying is FANTASTIC. I feel like I need to print it out so I can stare at it.

It is great, isn’t it. I’m thinking of printing & laminating it to stick above my desk so I don’t forget it.

The day was only troublesome by my being very tired. The back recovery is going well but the sleep debt is huge. I will take your forbid and throw it at the Universe as a protective spell 😀

      • GOOD. Because I can tell you, IT OWES YOU at this point.

And I’m not surprised you’re tired, pain is so debilitating. Even when I have headaches, the tired can linger, I can only imagine with what you’re dealing with.

I hope this week is going better!
