So I’ve been a terrible comment-responder and blog visitor the last few days thanks to a long-lasting and constantly-evolving headache.
Not sure what, exactly, triggered it. Last week much of it was weather, I think, which is frustrating as I’ve yet to figure out how to control it.
The weather, I mean.
I promise to try to catch up today, as so much of A to Z is the interaction.
My headaches form this annoying, attention-demanding creature who lives inside my head, making me dizzy, making me squint at the light, clouding my thinking so it comes out in dribs and drabbles.
Not a fan.
I’d love to make them vanish, but nothing much works aside from avoiding the triggers in the first place. Do you hear me, weather??
I’m sure I’m not alone, we all have those body quirks. All we can do is try to work around them.
If only they weren’t so determined to be in the way.
I know how those feel too, Isa-Lee, and I hope you feel better soon! I am also falling behind on visiting blogs as part of the challenge, but working on catching up today. 🙋♀️ Linzé

Oh gosh, I feel your pain. I mean not literally, as I’m fortunate in not suffering from headaches, but I get the frustration over the inability to control what makes you ill. Whilst my back injury can be triggered by physical misdemeanours, it is more often emotional stress that’s the cause. So when stuff is going wrong and I’m trying to handle the storm, I have to find a way to quiet the mind because I know what could happen – and how that would make it all so much worse. Sometimes I’m better at it than at others. But aren’t we all.
I’ve transferred my hard stare to the Chicago weather. It’s way past time it left you alone.

My extended headache finally passed yesterday. I don’t suffer headaches often, so it was really annoying. I can’t blame the weather though. So I blame stress. Or maybe menopause. Hope it passes soon!

I get weather related headaches and in the last couple of years, allergies cause them, too. Hope you are feeling better soon!
