Back for this too, I guess, though it’s pretty clear how I’m feeling lately. Especially if you saw yesterday’s photo prompt.

Writing has been at a minimum, though I’ve been thinking about projects. I may dig into one of them later today, so that counts, right?

It’s been one of those weeks where I try to to do little things and big things and everything goes at least a little bit wrong. So there’s that.

Exercise front, five days, five workouts, though it was tough this week, a real grind. I didn’t even enjoy today’s yoga-ish workout, it was essentially three moves over and over, slightly altered, and that’s not my favorite.

So I’m a bowl full of sunshine in general, then.

How was your week?

  1. In cases like that, getting the workout in when you don’t feel up to it is a BIG win! My biggest battle lately has been depression and apathy, but I’m starting to come out of that.

I finished marking up the manuscript a week ago, and have gone back into scrivener but not done much yet. Finally this week, I pulled up the WIP to try to organize it a bit, and I have some good stuff there! So, fairly productive, writing and editing-wise, although I took a day or two after finishing the manuscript to wallow in my cloud of depression. I’m glad to be upright at the laptop again. It helps.

    • That’s great about the manuscript but I’m really sorry about the depression. It’s hard to fight a cloud.

I’m really impressed that you fought through it though and got some great work done!

  2. Food work on the exercise. I did manage two one-minute runs on the elliptical yesterday and working on upping that to three today. It’s a struggle. I went from 4 hours sleep to 10 hours sleep the next night. Not great for productivity either way.
