#WednesdayWisdom: Filtering

Standard

It’s rainy today, but not dramatically. More like the sky is whining.

In the close distance, there’s a siren. Which isn’t unusual, it’s the city, after all. Now it’s faded away, someone’s emergency is largely out of earshot.

I think I slept better last night, though I remember dreaming of asteroid chunks hitting the earth, of people in filtering masks, of windowless bathrooms used for shelter.

You know, cheerful stuff.

No wisdom so far, though. Aside from you’re really going to want some kind of filter over your face if a broken-up asteroid hits the earth.

Nice one, subconscious. At least it’s thorough.

It’s amazing how much your imagination works for you when you’re dreaming. Might as well harness it. Dreams can really give you writing fodder.

And there’s the wisdom, of a sort. Have a fantastic Wednesday.
