Standard

It’s been a week, all right. But here we are, delivered to Friday once again, and it’s time to talk about how it’s all going.

I’ve started to edit the manuscript. While I’m not into the thick of the plot yet, and there are a lot of sentences making me want to confiscate my computer from myself, I did make myself laugh a few times.

So that’s something.

I really like the ability in Word to essentially mark up the manuscript on a tablet like you’re working on paper, yet still having the option of an on-screen keyboard to make notes. It’s the closest thing to printing it out and going over it, without all the tree murder.

And extra bonus, I can actually read my notes later.

Fitness-wise, it was five days, five workouts. They were challenging, but not as tough as they have been. A few of them were even enjoyable. That’s always a bonus.

And that’s me. How was your week?

  1. Sounds like great progress!
I’ve been a bit absent from the blogosphere, even forgoing my Fiction Fridays for a bit. Life and death. You know the drill. Not to dwell on missed days, I’m back there at least on Fridays. Now I’m getting ready for Nanowrimo. I have a totally knew book I want to write, but it needs a TON of plot-work before I’m ready to write it. Meanwhile, editing still. So, work is getting done, but not countable words, per se.

    • OOH that’s exciting! I don’t know yet if I’m in for NaNo.

I hope you’re OK overall, though, I hope that’s a metaphorical life and death.

It’s the way it goes, isn’t it, works for a while, then a lull, and all over again.
