Yesterday the morning was bright and sunny. Then it grew dark and rained, then it was sunny and then it rained and then it was sunny but all in the most dramatic way. When it was sunny it was like rain could never exist; when it was rainy, the sun was a distant memory.
It fit my mood, here in these ongoing weeks of isolation. Up and down, bright and dark, OK, something other than OK.
It’s still weird, even with adjustment, and stranger still that every time I venture out of my own little corner of the world, I should do so wearing a mask.
Still working on that.
I just found a video for making a mask with a filter pocket without a sewing machine. So I know what my weekend project will be.
The question is what to use as the fabric. I ordered some but it’s nowhere to be seen, and I don’t use scarves or bandannas. And a delivery date of June seems…less than helpful.
Hand-sewing it will be!
No time like the present to hone a new skill. Ish.
Anyway, I hope your Friday is wonderful and you have a good weekend.
