#MondayThoughts: Nonsense and escape

Standard

I’m devoting this week to utter nonsense. If it’s light, if it’s frothy, if it’s ridiculous, if it’s dream-based, I’ll be talking about it.

If it’s aliens in the clouds, look to my blog. Though that was a bad example, the clouds today are most certainly alien-free. But you get the idea.

I’m starting to see leaves emerge, even from a distance, and the grass is no longer a tentative green. Soon the crab apples will be in bloom, pillowy explosions of flowers.

Spring is very determined.

I’ve been noticing the birds flying closer and buzzing by more often, though none today, they’re off having their own adventures. Or maybe that means the weather will turn.

Though it was raining the other day, and the seagulls (they’re everywhere here, it always amuses me to see them in the supermarket parking lots) just flew on against the gray skies, the rain nothing to them.

It makes me wish, once again, that I could paint.

Anyway, here’s to finding a glimmer of lightheartedness in the every day. Have a great Monday and a wonderful start to your week.

  1. Silliness is always appreciated. Well, almost always. Not too appreciated at a mass termination. During sex, it’s all on who you are having sex with. An ingrown toenail removal, at the time, might not be the right time to chorttle. I’m sure there are a few more, but silly happens everywhere. Depends on the POV of the silly and the intended targets.
    I’m bored.
    🙂
