Here on this gray Monday, after a week of peaceful protests turned to riots by aggressive, brutal police and organized white supremacists, I can’t help but wonder how this will all turn out.

I hope we’re on the path for change for good. We can see it, all see it, in sharp relief, the truth. So how will we move forward with it?

The people itching for a civil war seem to be getting one, and it’s hard to know how the story will end. These turbulent times were not necessary, they could have been avoided.

We could have made so much more of the 21st century.

Anyway that’s it for me today. Have a reflective Monday, and honor the humanity in all of us.
