#MondayThoughts: True spirit of Monday

Standard

It’s brightly sunny today, uninterrupted blue in the sky, cool, though, for June. The baby birds who were nothing more than specks in the sky are growing larger, playing their way through the air, and the Supreme Court released a landmark decision protecting the rights of LGBTQ+ employees.

People cry out for justice, and for once, it seems, justice may be listening.

We’ll see.

I’m feeling chilly, the hazard of high temps about a week ago, but not unpleasantly so, and the sound of traffic has resumed somewhat, even though we’re far from the finish line.

I have a list today, full of tasks I’m not very excited about doing, but they need doing, nonetheless. That is, after all, the true spirit of Monday.

So I’m going to get to crossing things off, at least in my head, and you have a good Monday, and remember that we can affect others’ lives, for the good and the bad.
