#WednesdayWisdom: Don’t be an idiot

Standard

That’s it. That’s my wisdom for the day. Don’t be an idiot.

Wear a mask. Wash your hands. Don’t cough on people. Don’t call the police on black people because you feel irrationally angry about patio licenses or lemonade stand permits or their general existence in space.

Don’t make pronouncements about who is which particular gender in conflict with that own person’s identity. Don’t become the bathroom police.

Don’t think that other people’s lives are any of your business. Don’t turn a blind eye to the abuse of others. Don’t assume that if it doesn’t affect you it doesn’t matter.

Don’t act like you are the only person on the planet or the most important person on the planet. You are neither of those things.

Don’t be a jerk.

And with that, I wish you an idiocy-free Wednesday.
