It’s a gorgeous day, bright blue sky, white fluffy clouds, though it started with rain. I think the heat has broken, and you could almost pretend it’s a normal summer day.
Almost.
Today is a day for Things I Don’t Want to Do, after a week with much writing, none of it fiction.
I feel like we’re coming into the home stretch with something, though I couldn’t tell you what. I know what I hope it is, but hopes, over the last few years, are fickle.
Silly hopes.
These days are rife with an undercurrent of anxiety, not aimed at anything in particular, just waiting for the shoes that seem to fall like noisy rain. Chaos is exhausting.
Anyway, that’s me for today. I’m off to do those Things I Don’t Want to Do. Have a good Friday and a nice weekend.
