It’s warming up and no one tried to overthrow democracy yesterday so that’s nice. I’m a little bit behind today but that’s not too bad for a Friday. At least I’m awake.
Even that can be a challenge.
My mind is on lunch, but just in that general way, not in any way that actually gets lunch made. Only food options floating around in my head, round and round and round and round.
That too, can be a challenge.
These times are very odd, apparently the guy who voices Jimmy Pesto on “Bob’s Burgers” was allegedly at the insurrection. Given the character would probably do the same thing, it feels like life imitating art. What a strange way to ruin your career, really, if it’s true, attempting to overthrow the government for a guy who cared so little about the people doing it, he raised prices at his hotel on the day he was supposed to be “inaugurated” and then spent the time golfing in Florida.
Like I said, things have gotten very weird.
Anyway, that’s it for me as I try figure out how to make fiction stranger than truth. Have a great Friday and a fantastic weekend.
