#TuesdayThoughts: Middle of the night thoughts

Standard

At some point in the middle of the night, I had this post all planned out. It was brilliant.

Probably.

But now it’s gone. That’s the thing about those middle of the night thoughts. One minute they’re there, vivid and clear and feeling indelible, and the next, poof!

They’ve vanished.

So whatever insight I planned to share, it’s now floating in the ether. Perhaps you’ll find it there.

There’s construction again today, careless loud thunks, disembodied voices, occasional drilling. It’s become a kind of insistent background now. Gotta adapt, I guess.

That’s kind of how it goes. Like one big boxing match. Sometimes you land the punch. Sometimes the punch lands on you. And sometimes, like Floyd Mayweather, you just float out of the way.

And that’s it for me this Tuesday. Have a great day.
