#MondayThoughts: They should have involved more coffee.

Standard

It’s gray and rainy today, with flashes of lightning and some tentative thunder.

Fitting for a Monday, when you think about it.

I’m trying to glide my way into the week, but instead it feels jerky, halting. I had big plans for this morning.

Big plans.

They should have involved more coffee.

I’m watching as people hesitatingly send their children to school–that time already–unsure of what the future holds for kids too young for vaccinations. Children are living in a full, wild, vaccine-less world.

And Republicans are trying to make it riskier for them.

I will never understand it, this determination to make basic science political.

Anyway, that’s enough for a Monday. Have a great day.
