#WednesdayWisdom: Thin on the ground.

Standard

No idea what the weather’s like today, I don’t even have the blinds open, as I’ll be leaving for the hospital shortly. Maybe you know by now or maybe you don’t, but my mom is there after having a stroke. You can read about it here.

So my wisdom is a little thin on the ground right now.

But I guess I will say this. We have no idea what’s coming, what’s around the corner. Sometimes it’s good.

It seems like, in life, most of the time it’s bad.

But we can only do one thing at a time. Take one step at a time. We cannot spread ourselves out in all directions.

So when things get awful as they seem to frequently do, be kind to yourself. Be kind to your body.

And in the immortal words of Dory, “Just keep swimming.”

This is for me as much as you.

Have a great Wednesday.
