#WednesdayWisdom: Let’s go with it.

Standard

My weather app says there’s a 24% chance of rain today, but I’m pretty sure I’m looking at rain right now. What do I know.

Someone explained once on twitter that those percentages don’t actually represent the odds it will rain, but the percentage of the area likely to receive rain.

Yeah, it didn’t make sense to me either. It doesn’t seem terribly useful, but there it is, on every weather report.

Even if it’s just fog, it’s terribly gloomy today. This is the kind of weather I associate with November, not those mild, sunny days we’ve had sprinkled in.

Whatever it’s doing out there, it’s messing with my head, my thoughts slowly flowing from the bottle of my brain like molasses.

Can a brain be a bottle? Eh, let’s go with it.

We all have to get a little “good enough” into our lives. Sometimes it’s all you have time for; sometimes it’s as far as you can go. When things are uncertain, as things currently are, the best you can do under the circumstances really is the best.

And with that, I wish you a sensational Wednesday.
