#TuesdayThoughts: I’ll never know

Standard

As it’s Tuesday, here’s my Mom Update. Not visiting makes it harder.

I think it’s gray today, though my weather app claims not a cloud in the sky so I’m not sure who to believe.

Nope, wait, it’s changed its tune, as they’re apt to do.

APPt to do?

You know we’re in trouble if I’m punning already.

We’re in a weird quasi-state which isn’t locked down but not everything is open, either. It makes me think of this time last year, before we had the vaccine, and that year’s Thanksgiving and Christmas and New Year’s surges.

How people still don’t have the hang of this, I’ll never know.

I particularly enjoy the complaints about measures from people who have never actually undertaken them. That feels very authentic.

Anyway, here we are, cruising through the first week in January, another new year carrying the burden of last year’s problems. It’s a lot of responsibility for a baby of a new year.

And with that, I’m off. Have a great Tuesday.
