My mind is everywhere today. It’s hunched, worried, in other parts of the globe; it’s longing to sit and watch Mrs. Maisel, unheeded, it’s wondering what to bake for the end of the world.
The possible end of the world.
Let’s hope its not the end of the world.
Here in the US, the tangled strands between Republicans and Russia are coming undone, and it’s starting to feel like just the beginning of the end for them, the truth a glittering mirage in the near distance. That wouldn’t be a bad thing.
For everyone but them, of course.
I’m definitely jumpy and I had to tell myself aloud to just focus, just put my eyes on the screen and type out this post. This is a very strange time.
But even as I can’t sit still, even as my heart races and breaks in quick succession, over and over, I hold firm to one thought: humanity once again will triumph over evil. Democracy and freedom will light all who want them.
Evil will fall.
It will just be very, very evil until it does.
Have a restful Friday and weekend.
