#MondayThoughts: Serious things too.

Standard

It’s snowing. I feel I should remind you, it’s March. We’re supposed to be past snowing.

Supposed to be.

Hopefully the conditions aren’t bad. Just another layer of complication on everything else that’s happening.

My mind is largely with Ukraine, with the utter horror of what’s unfolding there, the complete lack of value of human life. Russian soldiers killing entire families trying to flee, firing on trains, orphaned children.

All without justification.

The only nazis now are wearing the Russian army’s Z.

So I send strength to the ordinary citizens of Russia, I hope you find a way to remove your murderous cruel dictator. I hope you can elect a leader you actually want, and one that will not inflict so much suffering on the world and on you. The sanctions in response to your leader’s actions are going to make your lives very, very hard.

I know this isn’t our normal frolic, but some days we have to discuss serious things too, it’s a serious world.

Have a great Monday.
