#WednesdayWisdom: take support when you need it.

Standard

Still doing the daily Yoga with Adriene, and this morning had some balancing postures. She suggested using a wall for support if needed.

Usually I wobble my way through the balancing sequences, fighting for that feeling when you’ve got the posture and it’s almost effortless.

But not this morning.

This morning I let myself use a nearby piece of furniture when the going got shaky. And it made me think.

So often we find ourselves working hard for that balance, for that point where it feels like we’ve got it, we’re solid. Like it doesn’t count unless we do it ourselves and it’s difficult.

But.

What if we allow ourselves to be supported? To take the support where we find it?

We might be able to do things we never thought we could manage. It may not be effortless but we may go further than we imagined possible.

And with that, I wish you a wonderful Wednesday.
