#MondayThoughts: Memorial Day and other Monday things.

Standard

Today is Memorial Day in the US, a day when we stop and remember the soldiers who have given their lives for this country and for freedom. And on that last note, I’d like to acknowledge the soldiers in Ukraine, fighting for this same fragile light.

It’s a public holiday today, marked by some closed offices and a lot of sales. If there’s one thing certain in America, anything marked by a “Day” will have sales.

So it goes.

It’s gray, I think but not serious about it. I’m not sure if they’ve predicted rain. Just checked, none until tomorrow night.

I wonder if anyone has told those clouds.

Anyway, I don’t really have much else for you today; things are quiet, inside and out right now.

Not a terrible thing I guess.

So have a good Monday, spare a thought for those we’ve lost, and I hope if today is a day you can relax, that you do.
