First, my #MomUpdate, if you’re interested, “‘The meaning of life, the universe and everything.'”
And now Tuesday.
Yesterday we had a tornado warning complete with tornado sirens. On and on they went for about an hour or so, something we rarely hear here outside of their testing. Eventually the sky darkened completely and rain fell in almost solid sheets. You couldn’t tell which thunder what with which lightning strike.
And then it was over.
Today it’s wildly, wetly humid, and the temperature is supposed to climb steeply into the high 90s. I have the icemaker going.
I suspect I’m going to need the ice.
And in a few days, no doubt it will be back to cool. It’s hard to know what the weather is doing this time of year.
It’s hard to know what any of us are doing, really. Why should the weather be special?
Anyway, I’m going to get on with it, and by on with it, I mean corral the ice that’s accumulating and probably melting, just to go through the whole thing again.
Have a great Tuesday, and stay a pleasant temperature, whatever that means wherever you are.
