#WednesdayWisdom: Feel what you feel

I, like the weather, am grumpy today. We’re supposed to get rain, but it’s not going to do anything for this soggy, stifling heat.

Nope, the day after tomorrow, the temperature will drop like a stone, more than 20 degrees. Perhaps close to 30.

Everything’s totally normal.

I’ve got another iced coffee brewing. One of the features of this coffeemaker I didn’t expect to enjoy as much as I do, at least once the weather turns muggy. But enjoy it I do.

How about that.

We all have our grumpy days, our days when we’re out of sorts, our days when the world seems to grate endlessly on a frayed nerve.

Even Mother Nature, apparently. She is not happy with us.

And you know what? That’s OK. Not the Mother Nature part, that’s a serious problem growing more serious, but the our emotions part.

Feel what you feel. You’ll feel better sooner than if you try to pretend it away.
