#WednesdayWisdom: Just do the thing that you’re doing.

Standard

It’s definitely summer, with sunny skies and sweaty temperatures. I’m on an iced coffee kick, there’s nothing quite as good when the temperature heats you all the way through like this.

This is one of those days where I need to be efficient, but though my brain knows it, the rest of me is stuck in leisurely mode. “I’ll get to it” mode.

Barely moving mode.

I definitely need to pick up the pace. Or establish a pace.

I’ve got to get going already.

Then again I have to remind myself it’s OK to just do the thing that you’re doing. You don’t have to have your mind ahead on tasks still looming.

Slow and steady, or something like that.

One thing at a time, or something like that.

You can do it!

Or something like that.

That was for both of us.

Anyway, I’ll wrap up this task and on to the next one. Have a great Wednesday.
