It’s a gray-sunny day, a little bit of everything and whatever you are doing right now, stop.
And take a deep breath.
A good, deep breath.
Fill your lungs entirely. Hold it for a moment, and let it out.
When my brain is racing and I finally notice that that’s what’s got me feeling on edge, I take a breath. It’s here for us, always.
One deep breath.
Whatever it is we have to will still be there on the other side of it, but somehow it’s easier to focus. Somehow it’s easier to take that next step. Or next several steps.
