My second iced coffee is right there, already made. I wasn’t taking any risks or pulling any caffeine punches today.

I can’t even say this morning because it’s already noon.

Someone is a tardy blogger. I won’t name any names.

It’s a brightly sunny day, not too hot, the kind of day that makes summer summer. The kind of day that makes me wish I had a boat.

Don’t know what I’d do with it the other many many many days that I am not wishing I had a boat, but today it seems like a leisurely trip out on Lake Michigan would be perfect. Breeze and sun and the water.

Ahhh.

I’ll have to settle for my iced coffee.

Maybe someday. But probably not, the thing with boats is you have to have somewhere to put them.

I don’t think they fold up for storage. And if they did, I’m not sure I’d want that boat.

Anyway, that’s it for me this week. Have a great Friday and a perfect summer (or winter!) weekend.
