#WednesdayWisdom: Dance a little

Standard

It’s been a clunky kind of week. News-wise we’re getting some really great stuff, but personally people seem to be having a rough time. Me included, but that’s my normal these days.

But one thing, I’ve found, can break the bouts of gloom. Dancing bursts.

Even just one song. I’ve been doing dance workouts on youtube too, those really get me going in the morning when I feel slow.

I’m still doing daily yoga, now not always with a guided practice. Sometimes I do my own thing for however long strikes me. It does give me a few minutes to ground myself.

But in terms of renewed energy and getting a little movement in as well, dancing is the best bet.

And the thing is it doesn’t matter if you’re good at it or bad at it or feel ridiculous.

Who cares?

You can literally dance like no one’s watching because no one’s watching. Unless someone’s watching then this isn’t really applicable but you get the idea.

Anyway, that’s it for me today. I hope you dance through your Wednesday.
