#FridayThoughts: Still figuring it out.

No TV Watch this week, I just wasn’t inspired for it. You can check out last week’s “Sci-fi silliness” though if you need a dose!

It’s gray today after a series of very warm, very sunny days, and though the temperature is moderate, at least it looks like November. Thanksgiving is around the corner and I’m not sure what that’s going to look like this year.

Were still figuring it out.

I couldn’t remember what we did last year, and then it hit me like a wave. My mom was in one of many ICUs, and we at in the hospital cafeteria.

It wasn’t good.

In the last few Thanksgivings we had together, we went out to eat at this restaurant in the suburbs, which was always packed for Thanksgiving. But it didn’t make it through the pandemic. It’s gone now.

I don’t think we’d want to go there now anyway.

So maybe we’ll order. Maybe I’ll cook. I’m not sure the way it will proceed, we probably won’t know until we know.

Any way we do it, I’m sure it will feel strange.

Anyway, that’s it for me this week. Have a lovely Friday and a wonderful weekend.
