A Bit to Read

It’s Monday, but a Monday on a precipice. Tomorrow trump is to appear on his first federal indictment.

I say “first” because clearly it’s only the beginning. Thirty-seven counts of only the beginning.

Yesterday in Pennsylvania, a vehicle thought to be an oil tanker burned under a bridge of a major national highway, causing a collapse. Given the proximity to sitting member of Congress Clay Higgins telling trump supporters to “know your bridges,” it sure seems suspicious.

A test run? I refuse to think wondering is ridiculous or excessive or “conspiracy theorist.” A republican congressman literally said “know your bridges,” and three days later a bridge on a major east-west highway collapses due to a fire.

We’ve heard nothing about the owner of the truck. In a recent AP article there was speculation gas lines below may have contributed. The driver or drivers have not been identified.

They have promised us “war” and it looks like we will get it, but we were always going to get it anyway. My only hope is that the FBI is on it this time, given it’s no longer under the umbrella of the person trying to get away with it all.

Trump is a human embodiment of evil, one of the worst things to happen to this country. While the bigotry was always there, he took away the need for the appearance of civility and that revealed just how terrible many people will be given the opportunity to do so. I hope he goes to prison for the rest of his life.

He deserves it.
