Yesterday it poured rain all day, but today it’s brightly sunny as though it didn’t look like a disaster movie. There was localized flooding and that NASCAR street race in the loop ran in some pretty wet conditions. Still they apparently had to cut it short.
Yesterday was kind of dramatic.
Today it’s like it never happened.
Twitter once again seems to be circling the drain, though who knows what will happen with that. I read that it owes Google a ton of money, and in my head, I imagine a scenario in which Google sues, gets a lien against Twitter and then takes it.
And like the end of a live-action fairytale movie there’s a big dance scene where we all celebrate and somehow know the words and steps like we’ve been rehearsing for months but it’s spontaneous.
Ah, my imagination.
And it’s only Monday. Though tomorrow is a holiday, so I’m not sure what it makes today.
