It’s it’s really sunny and I just remembered I have leftovers of my favorite dish from my favorite Italian place for lunch. In case you’re wondering, gnocchi gorgonzola. So amazing.

That’s a plus.

I actually ate in a restaurant last night, and because the food is good, it was crowded, so incredibly crowded. I forgot a restaurant could be like that. People with reservations were waiting for tables.

It was like time travel to another era entirely, and I was still out of phase with the past. Everyone else seemed perfectly comfortable.

One of the people at dinner is a physician at a university in town, and she was saying though they’re full frequently, it’s now other viruses aside from COVID. So stay careful, everyone.

I still wear masks in confined spaces, because why not?

Still it was a very nice evening, it’s only that there’s so much to get used to again.

I was concerned about the seats there but I needn’t have worried, they were padded. Still I brought my own cushion, just in case, the fear of another round of back pain a big incentive.

Who knows. I’d like to feel confident in restaurants again, it would be nice if in this world of so many crumbling disappointments, something normal could return.

Anyway, that’s it for me for this week. Have a perfect Friday and a (lovely) dream of a weekend.

Buy me a cup of coffee!
