It’s rainy this morning and very gray and I don’t mind it at all. It’s cozy weather, a nice contrast for me to the high temperatures early in the week.
It’s Friday again, and I while I miss people on twitter, I don’t miss twitter at all. And apparently their new terms of service, going into effect on September 23, are as ridiculous as the current owner of the site.
I say “current” because you never know how things might shake out. I hear Tesla is in trouble too.
So we’ll see.
Loving my Spoutible lifestyle, though. It’s just so pleasant there.
Besides that, it’s been a bit of a weird week, even though in the legal realm there was great news. Peter Navarro was convicted for his failure to comply with congressional subpoenas; actor Danny Masterson was sentenced to 30 years to life for two rapes, which I wasn’t expecting but I’m really glad to see.
District Attorney Fani Willis sent a barn-burner of a letter to jim jordan.
The wheels of justice may be slow, so very very very very slow, but they do seem to be turning.
And that’s where I think I’ll leave you for the week, with the thought that what we see isn’t all there is. The future is murky, and often, so is the past, because whatever we think we know, we don’t always know everything.
That is the mysterious way of the world.
Have a terrific Friday and a wonderful weekend.
