It’s cloudy but there’s some sun breaking through. I don’t know if it’s going to last. It’s gotten properly chilly, end of November chilly, December is nearly here chilly.

I’m not sure, exactly, what I did with this year. I lost my health, and fought to get it back; I am better but not the same as I was.

Isn’t that the truth for all of us?

Each one of these knocks back change the very shape of us, leave dents and divots and things askew. We’re like human planets, each one of us, constantly bombarded with space junk and comets and meteors.

Or meteorites.

I think it’s a meteorite once it enters the atmosphere but what exactly is our human atmosphere?

Sometimes I overthink my metaphors.

Point being not one of us gets through life as smooth as the day we were born of stardust.

Time does its timey thing and sometimes we can keep up with it and sometimes we can’t, but it only keeps going because that’s what time does. And we can only keep going because that’s what we do.

When we can.

Sometimes we have to let time run ahead, if only so we can catch our breath.

Anyway, that’s it for me on this post-holiday Monday. Have a great start to your week, if it’s the start, or whatever part you’re in.

Buy me a cup of coffee!
