Back around to Monday we go. It’s sunny and not horribly cold, which is a plus I guess, and on this post-Super Bowl morning(ish) I’m a little less thoughty than usual. Such are the ups and downs of putting your thoughts to pixels, sometimes they’re right there.

Sometimes they are not.

But still, on you go, one word after another. It’s not the dreamy flow state where the whole post is done before I realize it, but life can’t work like that all the time.

It would be amazing if it did, if each time we started a task it rolled along from start to finish without a single blip. If going in, you knew it would only take the time it takes before coming back out again.

Everything would feel easy.

I’m not saying I wouldn’t enjoy that. But reality is squawking loudly enough to remind me that there will be Mondays like this Monday, there will be days like this day. Where the step off from the curb of the weekend feels higher; where the words are tucked away somewhere else and I don’t have the combination for the lock.

Which is really inconvenient, when you think about it.

Yet somehow, we muddle along and muddle through because good enough is good enough. When you are stuck, remember that.

Good enough is good enough.

And with that I wish you a great Monday where everything feels easy.
