It’s sunny and not ridiculously hot and ridiculously humid, the kind of day that gives us amnesia in Chicago because we forget about all the other weather we have. It’s a beautiful city.
Here we are, Monday again, and suddenly it’s the tail-end of June. There’s so much going on in the world right now, and on Thursday, Pres. Biden is supposed to “debate” convicted felon trump. One of the rules is the microphones will be switched off while the other is speaking and the article I read–which didn’t mention that trump is a convicted felon–made it sound as though it was necessary for both the president and the guy with a sentencing hearing on July 11.
But we all remember how he wouldn’t let Pres. Biden finish a sentence. We all know that it’s because of the former “president” who had a meeting with his probation officer. The lengths they go to make trump seem like something more than the nonsensical pustule of evil he is are nauseating.
This is not normal. He is not normal. He doesn’t make any sense at all when he’s allowed to just speak, and then his ego won’t permit him to acknowledge it so he tries to smooth it over, like a three-year-old who got into the spackle.
It is not smooth.
So whether I’ll watch, I’m not sure. But if I do, I’ll be spouting live if you’re interested in that.
Aside from that, I’m trying to gear myself up for some actual, measurable productivity today, so I will wish you the very best of Mondays and a great start to your week.
