OK that picture of colorful, evil eggs with all different faces and expressions in a basket is cuter than I intended but it’s staying. It’s sunny and very cool compared to how it’s been, and I never resolved my issue yesterday, it’s just one of those things. Who knows which way things go.
I’ve been very edgy lately, as the world feels very edgy lately, like there are fires (set by putin) in all these different corners of the world and he is counting on them spreading until they are one massive fire.
I cannot understand the mentality of someone like that, someone whose joy in life comes from the death and misery of other people. He has lived a whole life in the pursuit of grasping at power, as though somehow that will make him important.
He knows this is his final chance. Trump is his greatest hope but he has not put all of his eggs of evil in that unraveling basket. Bad men in different parts of the world doing terrible things.
And yes, they’re specifically men.
In my heart of hearts, I do not believe North Korea is readying troops to send to Ukraine, but stealing a page from putin’s post-Olympics book, instead readying them to make more aggressive attacks on South Korea.
I would like to be completely wrong, and if I am thinking this, there are people far more experienced than I am doing the same. But it feels to me like another putin fire, with the hope that, since Israel didn’t divide our attention enough (and yes, his hand is in Israel as well) he will throw another log in the fire, so to speak.
People are meaningless to him; I suspect, to him, no one is real, no one is a “person,” no one “matters” but him. Another megalomaniacal monster.
Well I guess I decided I needed to talk about one of those fears nibbling away at me. I think we have to be realistic. Nothing is more important for the entire course of future history of this world than getting Pres. Biden reelected.
I still haven’t decided on watching the debate, I probably will, so look for the spouts over on Spoutible.
