I’ve got a lot of thoughts brewing, so please check out “OMG are we really this gullible? Of course Biden shouldn’t drop out.” Some of them are there, accounted for.
Today it’s a gray one, a rainy one, and why not. The media has told us we’re zooming face first into a brick wall.
But why believe them?
They haven’t exactly been all that honest with us so far. It’s nauseating and disheartening.
But we should not be disheartened. There’s too much at stake to be maudlin, we’ll have plenty of time for maudlin if we lose.
It hasn’t happened. None of the things they assure us will happen have happened yet. And yes, SCOTUS is beyond a disturbing mess but it’s not going to get fixed if we don’t get Democratic majorities across the board and keep the White House.
So take a deep breath and get to work. Our power is our vote, and they know it, it’s why they try so hard to take it from us or get us to give it up ourselves.
We are the heroes who are coming to rescue us. We are the ones who will give American democracy CPR.
