It’s sunny today, and cool too, but that’s to be expected at the end of October. Last night donald held what could only be described as a nazi rally in Madison Square Garden, the same place American nazis held one in 1939 and if you’re still calling everything a coincidence, what they’ll call you later is a collaborator.
It is exhausting to see all the clear, direct evidence rationalized away. And here’s the thing, the definitive thing: if you are not a nazi, but everything you say and do sounds and looks exactly like nazis, and people for years have been saying you look and sound like a nazi, at some point, wouldn’t you…
Stop?
All of it could be resolved if donald stopped using nazi slogans and and propaganda and ideas and stopped calling people vermin and threatening to use the military against dissenters and the people “poisoning the blood” of America. The problem isn’t those of us who see it.
The problem is him. And after eight years of it, it’s not remotely possible to say any of it is an accident or a coincidence. Donald being a nazi isn’t ridiculous, denying that’s what he is, that’s ridiculous.
He even said so in so many words, not only bemoaning he wanted hitler’s generals, but when he invented an enemy out of “antifascists” and called them “antifa” so it wasn’t obvious what he meant. But people who oppose fascism have a singular enemy.
Fascists.
There is no debate, donnie the loser, donnie the aggrieved, donnie the horrendously-makeup-ed, donnie the convicted felon, donnie the adjudicated sexual abuser, donnie is a facisist.
He’s a fascist.
There’s no need to discuss “if” further. He’s said it. He said he’d be a dictator on day 1. Republicans are now the fascist party.
PERIOD.
So are you going to vote for fascism or democracy? There are a number of prominent republicans who are team democracy and have thrown their support behind Vice President Harris, because they absolutely understand those are the singular choices.
And if you want to root this out, you have to choose Democrats for every office you can, because donald’s slimy tentacles are everywhere. We have a lot of constitutional shoring up to do.
There is no more space or room for denial of donald and republicans’ plan. What they did last night in the name of a political rally was a complete abomination, and that, on top of abomination after abomination has me questioning the real core of people.
Some people like to coast through life on the path of least resistance but that option is not available to most of us. For most of us, those particular people are the resistance, the obstacles we slam into no matter how we try to avoid them.
Of all the curses, Cassandra had it worst.
For once, listen. For once, believe what you see and hear and not what others tell you those things mean. For once, stop the chasm in history before it begins.
Fascism or democracy.
